About the Role
We are recruiting a commercially focused Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual and commercial performance of multiple live projects. Working closely with project managers, commercial teams, and senior leadership, the Contracts Manager will take ownership of contract administration, risk management, and financial control from pre-contract through to final account.
This role suits an experienced professional who can balance commercial discipline with practical delivery, protect contractual position, and support project teams in achieving successful outcomes.
Responsibilities

Manage the contractual and commercial performance of multiple projects simultaneously

Administer construction contracts from award through to final account and close-out
*
Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and contractual risk
*
Lead change management, variations, and claims preparation and negotiation
*
Ensure accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting across projects
*
Support project teams with contract interpretation and commercial advice
*
Lead or support subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and appointments
*
Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts
*
Ensure compliance with internal commercial procedures and contract obligations
*
Maintain accurate commercial records and audit-ready documentation
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to protect commercial position
*
Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial systems and best practice
