Contracts Manager – Tier 1 Main Contractor\n Location: Cambridge\n Salary: £90-£100k + Package\n Projects: Major Schemes totalling £100m+\n\nWe are partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-value commercial construction projects. This is a senior leadership role suited to an individual with a proven track record managing complex schemes at scale.\n\nThe Role:\n As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for multiple live projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards. You will provide strategic oversight, support project teams, and act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of the organisation’s regional operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects totalling £100m+\n\nProvide operational leadership and support to Project Managers and site teams\n\nEnsure robust planning, risk management, and programme oversight across all sites\n\nMaintain a strong commercial focus, managing budgets and ensuring profitable delivery\n\nUphold all health, safety, and quality standards across each project\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners\n\nDrive best practice, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery excellence\n\nAbout You:\n\nDemonstrable experience working as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a Tier 1 main contractor\n\nProven background delivering major construction schemes in excess of £100m\n\nProven background in delivering projects within the education sector\n\nStrong commercial awareness and strategic leadership capabilities\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nAbility to lead multiple project teams simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards\n\nA forward-thinking, solutions-focused approach to large-scale project delivery\n\nTo be considered for this role please apply with your CV or for a confidential conversation please contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
