The Role: Commercial Contracts Manager – Renewable Energy
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary Banding £100k + benefits
The Company
Our client, an innovator in the renewable energy sector, are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager, an expert in energy contracts to lead the strategic and operational management of electricity supply contracts and associated assets across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.
The Role
* You will be an expert in energy contracts with a deep knowledge of the UK electricity market.
* You will drive contract lifecycle management, revenue optimisation and risk mitigations strategies across Energy-as-a-Service.
* This is a pivotal role where you will maximise asset value and ensure long-term commercial success, working collaboratively with our operations, finance and technical teams.
* You will structure and deliver complex Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
* You will drive the commercial performance of E-a-a-S assets.
* As Commercial Contract Manager you will develop and manage high value customers and will manage contractual communications.
The Ideal Candidate
* The ideal candidate will be experienced in energy contract management or commercial operations within the renewables or utilities sector.
* Ideally you will have qualifications in either energy management, engineering or a commercial discipline.
* You will have experience negotiating and managing complex PPAs, BESS flexibility contracts and supply agreements.
* You will have a deep knowledge of the UK Energy markets, including Capacity Market and REGO schemes.
* The ideal candidate will have strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in revenue modelling, risk assessment and performance tracking.
* You will be confident in dealing with clients at senior levels and managing stakeholder dynamics.
* You will be calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure
* You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment with a hands-on approach
