Job Title: Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding\n\nLocation: Site/home-based with regular site visits\n\nSalary & Benefits:\n\nAnnual Salary: to £55,000 per annum\n\nPension: pension scheme\n\nHoliday: 28 days annual leave including bank holidays\n\nCompany Vehicle: Mercedes/Electric Car provided, including car maintenance and fuel card\n\nTechnology: Laptop and mobile phone for business use\n\nUniform: Company workwear provided\n\nRole Overview:\n\nResponsible for Projects throughout the North West/Yorkshire and surrounding areas. \n\nAs Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring new build cladding and roofing projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Systems include : wall cladding, sheet cladding and single - ply roofing. You will work closely with the company Directors, supervise operatives on site, liaise with clients and contractors, and manage all aspects of contract delivery and performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborate with company Directors to ensure all project deliverables are met\n\nOversee and maintain Health and Safety standards on-site\n\nSupport in setting up sites for new projects\n\nEnsure site activities are carried out in full compliance with approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments\n\nConduct quality control inspections to ensure work aligns with manufacturer specifications and drawings\n\nRepresent the company in meetings with clients and main contractors\n\nSupervise on-site operatives and subcontractors to ensure work is completed to required standards\n\nComplete and submit accurate weekly site reports and surveys\n\nOrganise and manage timely delivery of materials to site\n\nMaintain clear and professional communication between the site and clients\n\nProactively resolve site issues, ensuring transparent communication and prompt action\n\nMonitor on-site material usage and complete stock takes as required\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nProven experience in a similar Contracts Manager or Site Manager role within the roofing/cladding or construction industry\n\nStrong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and best practices\n\nAbility to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications\n\nExcellent organisational and communication skills\n\nProactive and solution-focused mindset\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\nIf you're a highly motivated and experienced contracts manager looking to take ownership of roofing and cladding\n\nprojects in a dynamic and supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nContact David Rowbotham @ PPM Recruitment on (phone number removed)
