Competitive Salary + PackageWe are currently working on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the Greater Manchester area.Our client delivers a range of civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects, including works associated with water and wastewater networks, and due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their senior operational team.The RoleAs Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering and utilities projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.You will manage site teams and Site Managers, coordinate resources and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders across the framework.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging multiple civil engineering and utilities projectsOverseeing and supporting Site Managers and delivery teamsEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budgetManaging client and stakeholder relationshipsCoordinating labour, plant, subcontractors and materialsMonitoring programme, progress and commercial performanceEnsuring compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standardsReporting project progress to senior managementRequirementsProven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within civil engineering or utilitiesExperience working on water, wastewater or infrastructure frameworksSMSTSCSCS CardStrong leadership and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneouslyThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering key infrastructure projects across the North West, with long-term frameworks and a strong pipeline of work.ApplyIf you would like to discuss this opportunity confidentially, please apply with your CV or contact our team for further information.JBRP1_UKTJ
