Contracts Manager Our client, a well-established and reputable civils contractor, is looking for a highly experienced, site-based Contracts Manager to take full control of groundworks and civil engineering projects. This is a hands-on delivery role, not office-based, focused on ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced, and delivered on time and profitably. Key Responsibilities Site Leadership: Be present on site, manage Site Managers, and ensure labour and teams are performing daily Programme Control: Own and manage project programmes, including 6-week lookaheads and milestone delivery Resource Management: Control labour, plant, and materials to avoid delays and inefficiencies Commercial Oversight: Work closely with QS, manage variations, issue contract notices (NEC/JCT), and protect margins Reporting: Provide weekly updates on progress, costs, risks, and performance HSQE Compliance: Ensure safety, quality, and systems are followed on site Additional Duties ...
