Contract Manager – Technical Bias\n\n On-site | Up to £65,000 per annum\n ️ Hard FM | TFM Environment | Leadership Role\n\nWe’re looking for a technically strong, people‑focused Contract Manager to lead our Hard FM delivery and wider site-based team on a high‑profile single‑customer contract in Oxford. You’ll ensure full compliance, exceptional service standards and a first‑class customer experience across a multi‑service TFM environment (including cleaning and security).\n\nActing as Deputy to the Contract Director, you’ll manage onsite engineers and subcontractors, drive operational excellence, and maintain a fully compliant, safe and operational estate.\n\n⭐ What You’ll Be Doing\n\nCustomer & Contract Management\n\n * Own the delivery of Hard FM services, ensuring all PPM, reactive, remedial and small works meet SLA/KPI expectations.\n\n * Build strong relationships with the customer through clear communication, regular site walkarounds and a proactive, customer‑focused approach.\n\nWorkplace & Technical Leadership\n\n * Provide robust technical guidance; source specialist support where required.\n\n * Work with engineers to diagnose issues and implement strategic action plans.\n\nCustomer Experience\n\n * Capture feedback to improve service delivery and ensure expectations are consistently met.\n\n * Identify and secure opportunities for contract growth in partnership with Commercial teams.\n\nH&S & Compliance\n\n * Embed Atlas Health & Safety policy across day-to-day operations.\n\n * Ensure statutory compliance, accurate PPM records, and robust safe systems of work.\n\n * Escalate risks appropriately, investigate incidents, and uphold corporate governance requirements.\n\nSupplier & Financial Management\n\n * Lead performance management of Hard FM suppliers, ensuring safety, reliability and value.\n\n * Full P&L ownership—manage budgets, financial risks, forecasting and monthly applications for payment.\n\n * Provide clear reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual) to both the client and internal stakeholders.\n\n Qualifications, Certifications & Training\n\n * Demonstrable trade qualifications and experience in an M&E discipline.\n\n * Accredited Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely).\n\n Knowledge, Skills & Experience\n\n * 3+ years’ leadership experience in a similar multi-discipline service delivery environment.\n\n * Proven track record of managing and reviewing company policies/procedures and implementing effective operational change.\n\n * Strong financial control skills, including P&L ownership and achieving financial targets.\n\n * Experience producing internal reports, performance data and delivering presentations.\n\n * 3+ years’ experience managing corporate customer relationships, including report production and leading performance review meetings.\n\n * Ability to use management information to support operational decision-making.\n\n * Experience managing large teams (20+), with strong people management and development capability.\n\n * Proven background in auditing service delivery.\n\n * 3+ years’ management of Hard FM or multi-service operations.\n\n * Experience using CAFM systems (e.g., Planon or similar).\n\n * Strong knowledge of statutory regulations across building services and Permits to Work in highly regulated environments.\n\n * Knowledge and experience of SFG20 standards for planned preventative maintenance.\n\n * Proficient in MS Office with strong presentation skills.\n\nAt Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
