We’re on the lookout for a Pothole Contracts Manager to lead a high-performing team, ensure seamless project execution, and help position Ground Control as the market’s first choice.
Your Mission
Reporting to the Senior Manager and Operations Director, your primary goal is to deliver outstanding results that align with our operating model and values. By ensuring excellent delivery, maintaining strong client relationships, and fostering team collaboration, you'll play a vital role in improving operating profit, driving client satisfaction, and increasing market share.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support a team of Mobilisation Coordinators, Estimators, and Customer Support Advisors.
Oversee day-to-day contract management including resource allocation, safety compliance, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Be the go-to liaison between field teams, clients, and internal departments.
Champion safe, high-quality, and timely project delivery with a “right-first-time” approach.
Maximise profitability through effective margin control and commercial decision-making.
Promote process improvements, risk management, and lessons learned.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
Ensure prompt conversion of sales into revenue and effective mobilisation of larger projects.
Who You Are
A confident leader with experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
Technically astute with strong commercial and project delivery knowledge.
Skilled in negotiation, tender review, contract compliance, and risk management.
An effective communicator with the ability to build trust and drive collaboration.
Passionate about safety, sustainability, and social value.
Adept at using systems to streamline processes and measure performance.
