OverviewSalary: 56745 Per AnnumHours: Full Time / Part Time (Min 0.8 FTE)Contract Type: Fixed Term (Until March 2027)Location: Polaris House Swindon Wiltshire (Hybrid Working Available)Band: UKRI Band FClosing Date: Sunday 2 November 2025Key ResponsibilitiesAssist PDI in identifying and engaging key colleagues within UKRI to foster ownership of CI initiatives.Implement governance structures and frameworks that balance centralised leadership and distributed ownership, enabling informed decision‑making and prioritising change resources.Champion a CI culture across UKRI, promoting awareness and benefits, encouraging innovative ways to deliver improvement, communicating success and fostering a blame‑free, have‑a‑go culture.Organise and coordinate CI training and development, supporting the development and timely implementation of on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job elements.Custodian of CI tools and techniques, maintaining a central repository and developing materials that enable sharing best practice guidance across UKRI teams.Facilitate CI initiatives across UKRI, leading by demonstration, applying data‑driven and evidence‑based approaches, and ensuring effective change management to maximise benefits once implemented.Person SpecificationTechnical Expertise: Significant, proven experience leading and delivering CI projects with advanced process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean Six Sigma at black belt level or equivalent).Project Management & Organisational Change: Demonstrated experience in business analysis, project management and managing organisational change.Organisation: Strong planning and implementation skills, meeting deadlines across multiple projects.Leadership: Relationship builder, coach and mentor who can develop effective cross‑functional teams and inspire others.Training: Proven ability to design and deliver CI training programmes and materials to all levels.Analytical/Critical Thinking: Ability to use objective analysis and sound reasoning to identify data‑driven solutions.Communication: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to influence, facilitate meetings, presentations, and produce reports.Other Important InformationPlease Note: If you require sponsorship to work in the UK, you and any dependants will be required to pay the Home Office application costs before starting.
