Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Container Planner.

We’re working with a well-established business in the container logistics sector who are looking to expand their operations team. This role is central to keeping transport activity running smoothly, with opportunities available across both day and night shifts.

The Role

* Plan and coordinate vehicle movements to ensure schedules run to time.

* Provide drivers with clear instructions and act as their first point of contact throughout the shift.

* Monitor live operations, resolving issues quickly to keep things on track.

* Balance costs and efficiency by making the best use of vehicles and resources.

* Keep transport systems updated accurately and prepare reports for management.

* Communicate with customers to provide updates and resolve queries.

* Work closely with colleagues in traffic and operations to drive continuous improvement.

About You

* Good understanding of UK routes and compliance requirements.

* Confident with IT systems such as TOPS or other TMS, plus Microsoft Office.

* Strong communicator with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet.

Days and Nights available.

Day shifts : Monday – Friday 08:00-18:00

Night Shifts : Sunday – Thursday 20:00-06:00 ( can be flexible )

£38-45k DOE
