University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust Consultant Paediatrician The closing date is 30 April 2026 The post holder will join the team of 15 paediatric consultants and will contribute to the delivery and organisation of the paediatric service, participating in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and service developments for the population of Coventry and Warwickshire. The Women and Children’s Group comprises Paediatrics, Neonatology, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Midwifery, Feto-maternal medicine, Reproductive medicine, and Gynae-Oncology. The Children's Emergency Department is jointly managed by Paediatrics and Emergency medicine. Services are provided on two sites: University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. Main duties of the job

Expertise in general paediatrics, acute and out-patient based. Ability to deliver a Consultant of the Week service on the children's inpatient unit and Children's Emergency Department, 4–5 times in 12 months. Participation in the general paediatric acute on call 1 in 6 weekends and 1 in 12 weekdays.
