What you will do:
- Provide high-quality neurological and general internal medicine services to patients, employing evidence-based practices and adhering to clinical governance frameworks.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team collaboration to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Offer professional advice and support to clinical colleagues within your area of expertise.
- Contribute to the education and training of medical, nursing, managerial, and technical staff.
- Participate in the appraisal of junior medical staff and support their professional growth.
- Engage actively in postgraduate education and Continuing Professional Development.
- Conduct medical audits and develop relevant projects to ensure ongoing service improvement.
- Provide valuable input for service development, management, and strategic planning processes.
- Participate in mandatory training, appraisals, and revalidation procedures as defined by the Trust.
Requirements:
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility within 6 months of the interview, with a valid Licence to Practice.
- MRCP or equivalent postgraduate experience in general medicine.
- MB ChB or equivalent qualification, with training equivalent to UK CCT.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in general neurology.
- Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, evidence-based practice, and clinical audits.
