Salary:\nCirca £60,000

\n
What you’ll be\ndoing:
\n
Be responsible for the capture and approval of\nfunctional requirements for Hydrostatic Control in accordance with\ncompany and programme\nprocesses. \n
Deliver a coherent functional design for\nHydrostatic Control and wider AVCS, across mechanical systems,\nC&I equipment, HMI and\nsoftware. \n
Define test objectives, scenarios and sea trials\nfor V&V of the design and integrated system, both for system\nperformance and use by the\noperator. \n
Provide technical specialist input, reviews and\nsupport for projects that are beyond immediate\nscope \n
Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the design\nto ensure that the solution meets the requirements of the Royal\nNavy \n
Your skills and\nexperiences:
\n
Comprehensive knowledge of Active Vehicle Control\nSystem\nfunctionality \n
An understanding of complex control\nsystems \n
Knowledge of hydrostatic control systems such as\ntrim, compensation, hover and their\noperation \n
Demonstrable experience of applying systems\nengineering\nprinciples \n
Relevant STEM degree or equivalent\nexperience \n
CEng status or equivalent in a relevant subject\nmatter/ working\ntowards \n
