About 100th Monkey
We help teams, leaders and organisations thrive - combining consulting, facilitation, and skills development to unlock high performance, creativity, and collaboration.
Our work is varied and strategic - from crafting strategic narratives and designing team development programmes and culture-change initiatives, to delivering cut-through, human-led workshops and training at all levels. We partner with ambitious organisations that care about doing things better - and we do it with a weight of insight and a lightness of touch.
We are a small independent company headquartered in Bristol, and with 50% of the team operating remotely from Brighton to Birmingham.
The Role: Consultant
This is a critical client-facing role reporting to and working hand in hand with our Directors. You'll lead project delivery, shape strategy alongside senior clients, and be in the room as a confident facilitator and skills trainer. This is not a passive or back-office role - leading live interventions onsite with clients is absolutely central to what we do.
You'll work closely with Directors to design and deliver impactful programmes, provide trusted guidance to clients, and contribute to our internal culture and knowledge. You'll also manage and mentor junior team members and help us continually raise the bar.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting & Client Advisory
- Act as a strategic thought partner to clients in partnership with the Directors, using insight and structured thinking to solve real challenges
- Develop frameworks, materials and content that bring clarity and confidence to complex initiatives
- Build trusted client relationships, drive programme success and support with new business / organic growth
Programme & Project Leadership
- Lead delivery of multiple programmes, managing timelines, budgets, and teams
- Work closely with internal enablers (PMs, design, admin) to ensure excellence throughout
- Spot risks early and solve problems proactively - you'll be a safe pair of hands everyone trusts
Facilitation & Training
- Co-design and facilitate engaging sessions for groups ranging from senior leaders to front-line teams and early careers cohorts
- Adapt to the room - manage group dynamics and helping participants stay engaged and aligned
- Present clearly and confidently, both online and in person
- Be energised by and have the flexibility to regularly travel and be onsite
Team Development & Internal Contribution
- Mentor and support junior consultants, sharing your expertise and guidance
- Contribute to continuous learning - sharing insights, documenting learning, and improving how we work
- Play a role in internal initiatives (e.g. growth, people, product) depending on your strengths and interests
Who This Is For
We're looking for someone experienced, skilled, and energised by this kind of work.
You might be:
- A talented, strategic thinker with 8+ years in consulting, communications, organisational change or leadership development, ready for more strategic influence
- A seasoned practitioner seeking a meaningful mid-senior role with ownership, variety and purpose
- Someone who loves being in the room, shaping the work and delivering it with care
- Someone interested in joining a small team and shaping a growing business
You'll thrive here if you are:
- Structured in your thinking and responsive in your approach
- Collaborative, warm, and genuinely curious
- Commercially aware and comfortable guiding clients
- Calm under pressure, with excellent judgment and high standards
- An agile thinker who operates with comfort and clarity at high pace
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £55,000-£80,000 FT, depending on experience
- Bonus scheme
- Hybrid/remote working - we're flexible when not onsite with clients
- Health Insurance
- 3% company pension contribution
- Birthday off and Christmas shutdown (min two days)
- A collaborative, caring team of smart, skilled people
- The chance to work on meaningful, varied, high-impact programmes
- Ongoing development support in consulting, facilitation, and leadership
