Overview Applications are invited for a full time consultant post in obstetrics and fetal medicine. The appointee will join a cohesive, friendly team of 38 consultants in obstetrics and gynaecology working across Bristol and Weston. Responsibilities
Provide a full elective and emergency obstetric service to secondary and tertiary level patients attending the hospital. Develop specialist areas of interest with support in the job plans. Collaborate within the department to provide secondary and tertiary level care for the wide range of medical problems referred to St. Michael's Hospital as part of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. Contribute fully to the obstetric workload of the department including delivery suite sessions and on call. Take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate education. Experience in clinical leadership and an interest in acquiring leadership roles in the department is welcomed.
Timetable and Location The timetable may be subject to change by mutual agreement with the Lead Doctor following job plan review. The post is based at St Michael’s Hospital.
