This role will be predominantly focused on delivering a consultant-led liaison service to frail and complex patients on the Health Services for Elderly People ward and developing our frailty liaison service. Clinical supervision and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level will also be an important aspect of this role. The appointee will also work closely and in partnership with our Acute Medicine colleagues as well as the wider multidisciplinary team. Applicants will be expected to have suitable experience in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine (GIM). On call is for acute geriatric medicine on a 1 in 10.
