  • Lead and contribute to a variety of ecological projects
  • Support and mentor more junior team members
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy work
Abat licence would be highly beneficialfor this position.What Theyre Looking ForEssential:
  • Degree in Ecology or a related field
  • ~3+ years experience in ecological consultancy
  • Experience with project delivery and some level of team or line management
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and policy
  • Good report writing skills and experience reviewing technical reports
  • Experience with Ecological Impact Assessments
  • GIS and database management experience
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Membership with CIEEM (or working towards appropriate level)
Desirable:
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
  • Protected species licences (e.g. bats, GCN)
  • Specialism in areas such as ornithology or bats
  • Experience as an EPS licence holder
  • Interest or experience in habitat creation and biodiversity enhancement
