This role involves performing a range of anaesthetic procedures on patients referred to the hospital, in accordance with established protocols and practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise, efficiency in theatre, and a strong commitment to teamwork and patient care. Day-to-day of the role: Perform anaesthetic procedures independently across various specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, ENT, and urology, primarily on an elective basis. Engage in the anaesthetic pre-assessment of patients and their optimisation prior to surgery, in collaboration with the nursing team. Participate in the management of the service through audit, research, and specific management tasks.
