This is a 10 Programmed Activities (PA's) post including on call duties and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPA's). With mutual agreement it can be extended to 12 PAs. At The Royal Wolverhampton Hospital there is also extensive elective and emergency theatre activity, so wide experience in general anaesthesia for a variety of surgical disciplines is essential. Full specialist registration with the GMC and possession of the FRCA (or equivalent) are requirements of the post. Main duties of the job The post holder is expected to participate in the general on call anaesthesia service covering both New Cross Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital.
