Job Title: Construction Teacher\n Area: Wembley (HA9)\n Start Date: September 2025 (or ASAP)\n Contract Type: Part-time (2 days per week)\n Salary: Paid to scale\n Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm\n\nAbout the school:\n This is a supportive Pupil Referral Unit in Wembley catering to students who require alternative education provision. Pupils may present with SEMH, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties, and benefit from small class sizes and tailored support.\n\nAbout the role:\n You will deliver structured and engaging Construction lessons to KS4 students working toward their City & Guilds Level 1 qualification. Planning and adapting lessons to suit diverse learning needs will be essential.\n\nWe're looking for a dedicated candidate to:\n\nTeach Construction to students with SEN\nDeliver accessible, accredited coursework\nSupport pupils' engagement and personal development\nCreate a safe and supportive classroom environmentRequirements -\n The ideal candidate would have:\n\nQTS and experience teaching Construction\nCity & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification in Construction or a related trade\nExperience with City & Guilds qualifications\nStrong behaviour management skills\nUnderstanding of SEMH and additional learning needs\nAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted\n Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
