Job DescriptionA well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Associate Construction Solicitor to join its Construction team.

The Role

This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse construction caseload while supporting the ongoing development of the team. The role would suit a comfortable lawyer who works autonomously and contributes to business development activities.Key responsibilities include:Managing a busy construction caseloadAdvising clients on a range of construction mattersDelivering a high standard of client serviceSupporting and supervising junior team membersBuilding and maintaining client relationshipsWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the firmContributing to internal know-how and precedents

Skills & Experience

Minimum 7 years' PQE in construction lawExperience handling a range of construction mattersAbility to manage files with minimal supervisionStrong organisational and communication skillsConfident client-facing approachExperience in business development and networkingDesirable:Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction workKnowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
