Job Title: Site Manager (Temporary) Location: Near Glasgow Rate: £280 per day We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy specialist for an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of retrofit heating projects across the Glasgow area. The Role: As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth coordination between multiple teams including drilling, mechanical, and fit-out. Key responsibilities include: * Managing on-site health & safety in line with CDM 2015 regulations and company procedures * Coordinating daily activities across all trades on site * Leading site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings * Reviewing RAMS, method statements, and construction phase plans * Monitoring project progress and managing critical path activities * Liaising with resident teams to minimise disruption during works Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within retrofit or residential projects * Experience working in occupied properties (M&E and groundwork knowledge desirable) * SMSTS (essential) * Level 6 NVQ / City & Guilds in Construction Site Management or equivalent (preferred) What’s on Offer: * Competitive day rate of £280 - CIS * Opportunity to work within the growing renewable energy sector * Join a collaborative and purpose-driven team * Immediate start available
