Job Description
My client is seeking a QA/QC Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that the project’s quality requirements are met and maintained throughout the construction process, in line with regulatory standards and industry best practices.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a leading energy company at the forefront of long-duration energy storage innovation. You’ll play a key role in delivering a groundbreaking Renewable Energy Storage Power Station in the North West.\n\nThe Role:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain the project's quality management system, including quality plans, procedures, and documentation.\nCollaborate with project managers, field engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful integration of energy storage technologies and the alignment of project objectives.\nConduct site inspections, quality control checks, and audits, ensuring that project designs and construction activities meet the required quality standards.\nReview and approve project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.\nProvide technical guidance and support to construction personnel, addressing any quality-related issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices. Required Experience:\nDegree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field\nProven experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure sector.\nProven experience in EPC environment\nStrong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.\nExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to the evolving needs of the renewable energy industry.\n\nOur role in supporting and \n As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
