Job Purpose:
The Construction Operations Manager (SOM) will work closely with the Services Coordinator, MPT Superintendent, Foreman and others to ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and professional manner while following company policies and expectations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction, traffic control, services management principles and a proven track record of successful delivery. To be successful in this position the candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, have leadership capability, and excellent communication skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A bachelors degree in project management, business administration, or a related field is often .
Construction background required.
Skills in leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
knowledge of Pub 213, MUTCD: Part 6 and Pub 212: Title 67.
Able to maintain professionalism & a courteous demeanor as a representative of the company. Must be personable, dedicated, have a positive attitude, and have excellent people skills.
Experience in managing direct and in-direct reports.
Knowledge of OSHA & safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:
Lifting and carrying:
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
The ability to work beyond standard schedule when necessary.
You must be available for emergencies that may arise (evenings and weekends).
Ability to sit for a prolonged period.
Office Requirements:
Strong computer skills along with data entry required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
Administrative tasks may be requested/required
Work hours may be between 6am-4pm (Hours may vary)
