Vital have a really exciting opportunity for a P&D Construction Manager who is looking for a new challenge to work alongside a highly knowledgeable E&P / D&P team. We are looking for an individual who has had Construction Management experience ideally within a contractor environment.

Our client is a reputable contractor within the rail sector who has worked on the UK’s biggest engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities/ Requirements

* Previous experience as a Construction Manager within E&P / D&P.

* Be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and hold a professional qualification such as CEng or MAPM.

* Plan and manage resource allocation, including labour, plant, and material resources.

* Implement and drive health and safety standards across projects.

* Manage sub-contractors and liaise with additional stakeholders.

* Deliver construction management duties on rail infrastructure projects.

* Oversee sub-stations, power supply, and feeder works.

* Utilise LV and HV experience to ensure project success.

* Ensure effective delivery of E&P projects, driving work progress.

* Strong knowledge & experience of Rail Systems
