A rare opening at this Tier 1-ranked firm for an ambitious construction disputes lawyer to work on a broad caseload for both private and public sector clients, including developers, major international and domestic contractors, consultants and public sector bodies such as central and local government, and social housing providers. You will be involved in ADR, including adjudication, mediation and the pre-action protocol for construction and engineering disputes and litigation. Your caseload will include dispute avoidance and risk management, contractual interpretation and professional negligence matters. Relevant experience and knowledge of standard form contracts such as JCT, FIDIC and NEC are essential. Experience of complex, high value, defect disputes and an understanding of the Building Safety Act is desirable.
