Head of Construction and Infrastructure Economics - Europe Department: Construction & Infrastructure

Oxford Economics, a leading economic forecasting and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced and results-driven leader to establish our Construction and Infrastructure practice in Europe. You will have the opportunity to pursue the following service areas across Europe for construction and infrastructure related clients:
Infrastructure market analysis: provide clients with a macro-level view of infrastructure sector opportunities, risks and trends.
Cost escalation forecast: forecast construction costs for labor, plant, equipment and materials.
Market capacity and supply analysis: evaluate the construction industrys ability to meet future demand across labor, plant, equipment and building materials.
Infrastructure feasibility, business case and cost benefit analysis: help governments and investors assess the economic viability and value-for-money of infrastructure projects.
Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with the company's objectives and target markets.
Responsible for developing a team to provide economic advice for construction and infrastructure clients.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building with potential clients and partners. Lead the development of proposals, including value propositions, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Support subscription BD team with Global Construction Service demonstrations.
Client Engagement : Deliver high quality projects to build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of services.
Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with global C&I team members, our Global Construction Service subscription team and with your European peers across Oxford Economics.
Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry by contributing Research Briefings and Data Insights to the Global Construction Service and actively participating in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
Post graduate degree in Economics or a related field
Deep expertise and demonstrated experience selling and delivering economic advisory services to construction and infrastructure clients in Europe
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and senior executives.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
