Job Description
Construction Health and Safety Advisor required to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate health and safety.\n\nYou will join the business to deliver consultancy services across ongoing construction projects throughout the M4 Corridor region.\n\nThis position is home-based, with frequent travel to sites, client offices and other company offices.\n\nThe role includes but is not limited to:\n\nAttending client sites to carry out Health and Safety inspections and compliance inspections.\n\nWriting reports.\n\nHaving responsibility for invoicing your own projects as soon as they are complete.\n\nPreparing, assessing and supporting the development of Health and Safety systems, including policies, procedures and risk assessments.\n\nActing as a key interface between members of client teams.\n\nDelivering services within an agreed time frame and within budget.\n\nProviding health and safety training.\n\nReviewing, preparing, co-ordinating and distributing relevant Health and Safety information to other design and project team members.\n\nReviewing Construction Phase Health and Safety plans.\n\nAttending meetings.\n\nLiaising with colleagues, providing Health and Safety advice and support as necessary.\n\nPreparing and issuing proposals.\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior team members.\n\nIdentifying business development opportunities and assisting with the growth of Client base.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum of Tech IOSH, ideally hold or be working towards CMIOSH Accreditation.\n\nPreferably NEBOSH Diploma and/or NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.\n\nFull driving licence is essential.\n\nExperience\n\n2 + years’ experience acting as a Construction Health and Safety Advisor.\n\nThe company are paying £40k-£45k plus car allowance, pension and more
