Your Role
As a Senior Manager in Connected Products & Services, you will lead the growth and delivery of our connected product and intelligent systems portfolio, owning client relationships, shaping propositions and building high‑performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow a £1m annual consulting revenue target across connected products, IoT, digital services and intelligent systems.
Lead the design and sale of propositions aligned to priority sectors and technologies.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on connected product strategy, technology and transformation.
Lead the delivery of complex engagements, ensuring commercial, delivery, and quality outcomes.
Build, mentor and grow high‑performing consulting teams.
Additional Roles & Development
Business Development – leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, hosting clients at events.
Internal Contribution – campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
Learning & Development – training to support career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile & Qualifications
Proven background in one or more priority industries (e.g. Energy, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer, Life Sciences, High‑Tech), with a clear understanding of how intelligent, connected products drive value today and in the future.
Deep understanding of client and industry challenges, with the ability to articulate how business, technology and engineering solutions address them.
Strong technical credibility, ideally spanning software, connectivity, cloud, data, hardware or engineering, combined with commercial acumen to shape and sell consulting propositions.
Proven ability to operate in a matrixed organisation, enlisting support across multiple teams to sell and deliver complex client solutions.
Track record of proposition development, thought leadership and business development, using both your own network and Capgemini’s relationships to grow revenue.
Experience in one or more priority industries (Energy, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, High‑Tech, Transport or Telecoms) is an advantage.
