Your Role As a Consultant in Connected Products & Services (Connected World), you will help organisations design and deliver intelligent, connected and sustainable products — from industrial and energy systems to consumer and healthcare devices. You will play a key role in:
Supporting the development of connected product, IoT and digital service strategies Analyzing markets, customers, technology and business models to identify growth opportunities Contributing to the design and delivery of client engagements across priority sectors (Energy, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer, Life Sciences, High‑Tech) Working with engineers, designers and technologists to translate technical solutions into business value Producing client‑ready outputs such as presentations, financial models, roadmaps and propositions
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events. Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development. Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile You will bring many of the following:
Experience in intelligent, connected products and emerging technologies, with a desire to work across areas such as IoT, data, cloud, AI, connectivity, software or digital engineering Understanding of how connected products and digital services create business value, whether through new revenue streams, improved operations or better customer experiences Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organisation, collaborating across strategy, design, engineering and industry teams to deliver solutions Curiosity about market and technology trends, with the ability to analyse client challenges and contribute to clear, practical recommendations
(Experience in one or more priority industries — Energy, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, High‑Tech, Transport or Telecoms — is an advantage.)
