Summary:

Defines, documents and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes. Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control. Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. Assists with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Management and Configuration Management Specialist based in Yeovil or Bristol, United Kingdom.

The person is required to provide Configuration and Data Management support and guidance to Fixed and Rotary Wing programmes and campaigns.

The role will be include but not be limited to:

Supporting the planning and implementation of Configuration and Data Management.
Support the deployment of a standardised configuration management process throughout the organisation.
Identify risks, issues and opportunities and support the development of mitigation plans.
Collaborate and assist with developing the standardisation of configuration tool sets (including security and access) to meet company requirements.
Interfaces with bid and programme teams to drive the company configuration management requirements into contract initiation and review.
Programme CM Specific:

Provide and adhere to Configuration and Data Management requirements as documented within the programs contracted Configuration Management requirements.
Liaise with customer and suppliers to agree joint working procedures and processes.
Support and provide inputs to programme control boards, ensuring they are held and conducted consistently across all programmes.
Responsible for the delivery of required output of control boards and timely closure of actions.
Provide Configuration Management support at design reviews and programme reviews.
Schedule and track data deliverables for Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs)
Ensure timely disposition of SDRLs.
Review the data in iPDM - security, trade control and intellectual property markings. Documents sign off.Other:
