Position: Teacher of Computer Science

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £40,317 - £62,496 per annum

Smart Teachers is working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher. The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for suitably experienced teachers. You will be joining a collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and high standards of teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering inspiring Computing lessons that meet curriculum requirements

Teaching Computer Science, Digital Literacy, and ICT-related topics

Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement

Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will:

Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

Have experience teaching Computing at secondary level

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology

Be committed to inclusive education and raising student achievement

Be an ECT or experienced teacher looking for a new challenge
