Job Description
We are supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation in the search for an experienced EU Healthcare Compliance Manager to join their Medical Affairs function. This is a regional role responsible for leading and overseeing healthcare and scientific compliance activities across the EU.
The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for code compliance, ensuring alignment with EFPIA and local country regulations, while driving a strong culture of integrity and governance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee EU healthcare compliance activities within Medical Affairs Ensure compliance with EFPIA and applicable local country codes Review and approve medical and scientific materials for external and internal use Provide guidance to stakeholders on HCP interactions, congresses, grants, donations, and publications Lead and coordinate compliance committees and governance forums Maintain and update Medical Affairs SOPs and processes Deliver compliance training to relevant teams Develop and maintain compliance scorecards and performance metrics Support audit readiness and coordinate internal audits where required
Requirements
Advanced scientific or medical degree (e.g., MSc, MD, PharmD or equivalent) Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry Strong experience in medical or healthcare compliance Strong knowledge of EU and UK healthcare regulations and EFPIA Code Experience working cross-functionally in a regional or multi-country environment Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills High attention to detail, integrity, and a process-driven mindset
