What are we looking for?

We currently have an open position for a Graduate within our UK Compliance team. This role will provide you with valuable experience and an opportunity to develop expert knowledge as it relates to financial services, with dedicated support and training from the team. If you’re a self-motivated, team player, this is the role for you!


Who will I be working with?

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, UK/MENA, you will be working closely with a diverse and supportive team of three individuals within the UK. You will also work closely with other departments across the company such as HR, Sales, Investment Solutions and Marketing.


What will I be doing?

  • Providing support to the UK Compliance team on various topics
  • Financial promotion / Marketing & Communications review and sign-off
  • Execution of Compliance Monitoring reviews: definition of the testing methodology, formalisation of the tests and writing up conclusions
  • Regulatory research / report writing
  • Reviewing employee’s personal transactions and Outside Business Interests reported to Compliance
  • Reviewing Gifts & Entertainment
  • Co-ordinating the employee new joiner Compliance pack
  • Co-ordinating, arranging and tracking the roll-out of Compliance training to employees
  • Interpreting current and new regulations, and advising the business accordingly
  • Review and update of Compliance policies and procedures, and support provided in relation to training to employees
  • Co-ordinating Compliance team meeting content and agenda; presenting during Compliance team meetings
  • Involved in ad-hoc projects


What skills and qualifications are required for the role?

  • Team player;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
  • Eye for detail;
  • Analytical and inquisitive;
  • Intermediate / Advanced data analysis experience using Microsoft Excel would be advantageous;
  • Some employment experience would be advantageous; thus we also welcome applications from those seeking their next job who might not necessarily be a university graduate.

20-22 months

£35,000 per annum

26 days of holiday entitlement (plus a day off on your birthday, plus Bank Holidays)
