Description: We’re hiring a Japanese speaking Compliance Analyst to play a key role in protecting the integrity of our platform by identifying and investigating suspicious or illegal activity. You will work with complex datasets and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance obligations are met.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Applying analytical techniques to data to develop recommendations for reporting to regulatory authorities.
2. Conducting reviews of suspicious or illegal financial activity.
3. Performing analyses of AML or suspicious activity cases across jurisdictions.
4. Assessing customer profiles and transaction data for compliance with policies and standards.
5. Using internal data and open-source tools for investigations.
6. Documenting findings and preparing reports.
7. Making informed decisions based on investigations.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Japanese and English, with strong language skills.
2. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
3. Experience in fraud, AML, CDD, or EDD investigations.
4. Strong analytical writing skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
6. Good organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to handle sensitive material objectively.
8. Critical thinking and collaboration skills.
9. Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
