About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to support one female adult living with tetraplegia and complex health needs. This is a 2:1 care package, requiring attentive, person-centred support at all times.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone experienced in complex care who is confident working with clinical interventions and providing high-quality daily support within the person's own home.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care & Clinical Support:Assisting with dressing and undressingFull personal care supportSuprapubic catheter care, including:Connecting/disconnecting night drainageMonitoring for blockages and reporting concernsSupporting with neurogenic bowel management, including:Digital rectal checksAdministration of glycerine suppositoriesBlood pressure monitoring and ability to escalate concerns appropriatelySupporting physiotherapy exercisesHoist transfers and safe repositioningPressure area care and regular skin checksDaily Living Support:Preparing food and drinksAdministering medication in line with care plansProviding companionship and emotional supportRequirementsPrevious experience in complex care (essential)In-date DBS certificateFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleConfident with clinical tasks and escalation proceduresAbility to work effectively as part of a 2:1 care teamCompassionate, reliableand professional approachWhat We OfferConsistent hours (42 per week) - Split throughout the day between 7:00 - 22:30Ongoing temporary assignmentSupportive team environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in someones lifeJBRP1_UKTJ
