i.Toberesponsiblefordealingeffectivelywiththecorporatecomplaints,schoolcomplaints,statutorysocialcarecomplaints,OmbudsmanandInformationCommissionersOfficeenquiries,FreedomofInformationandDataProtectionActenquiries,andMembersEnquiriestotheDirectorateofChildrensServices.
ii.ToworkaspartofateamdeliveringhighqualityservicesacrosstheremitoftheservicehavingleadresponsibilityforoneortwoofthefollowingareasasdesignatedbytheHeadofServicei.e.(i)Complaints(ii)FreedomofInformation;(iii)DataProtection(iv)MembersEnquiries.
iii.Todevelopandmaintaingoodrelationswithserviceareasandpartneragencies
iv.Tomaintainagoodworkingknowledgeofthelegislation,policiesandprotocolsrelevanttotheworkoftheservicee.g.InformationgovernanceandcomplaintsproceduresrelevanttoChildrensServices.
v.Toprovideanexcellentandprofessionalstandardofservicetoallstakeholders,includingprovisionofadviceandguidance.

Complaints&InformationGovernanceOfficer
Experienceofsuccessfullydealingwithcolleaguesandthepublic,includingcommunicatingdifficultissueseffectivelybothorallyandinwriting.
Experienceofworkingwithcomputer-basedsystems,inparticularMicrosoftExcel,e-mailandscanningfacilities.
Experienceofprojectmanagementand/orresearchworkandrelevanttechniques.
