They are an established, local leading firm and are looking for an experienced corporate deals lawyer, to help grow a small but ambitious corporate deals team.

The role would involve supporting and leading on deals for SMEs and helping develop the talents of other team members. You would report into an experienced Head of Department who will provide support and guidance as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business-to-business agreements, including terms and conditions, supply of goods/services, distribution, and agency agreements.
• Support or lead on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business sales, management buy-outs, and private equity investments.
• Provide expert guidance on company formations, director duties, shareholder agreements, and general constitutional matters to ensure clients meet their statutory obligations.
• Advise clients on the protection and licensing of intellectual property rights, as well as ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of business clients, ranging from startups to established SMEs, ensuring legal advice is delivered with a clear commercial focus.
