Company Accountant - Derry - Londonderry £45,000 | Full Time | Office Based | Newly Created Role Our client, based in Derry city, seek to appoint an experience Company Accountant to this newly created role which has become available due to significant growth. The Company Accountant will play a key role in improving financial controls, strengthening working capital, reducing debtor days, and maintaining accurate and timely reporting. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a growing business and can introduce best practice, efficiency, and strong financial discipline. Key responsibilities include: Month-End, Reporting & Forecasting - Deliver accurate month-end accounts within 5 working days Produce monthly management accounts, departmental reporting, and financial analysis Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash position on a regular basis Provide working capital insights and process improvement recommendations Financial Operations & Controls - Maintain strong internal financial controls and documentation Leadership & Team Management - Lead and support the Accounts Administrator, ensuring high performance and accuracy across all finance tasks Credit Control & Debtor Management Sales Ledger & Customer Accounts Purchase Ledger & Supplier Management This employer is open to applications from those who are fully qualified Accountants (CAI, ACCA, CIMA) and those who are qualified-by-experience and who have previous experience in the duties outlined above.
