In this role, the
Community Paediatric Nurse
will manage a small, manageable caseload of just 45 children per day, allowing time to deliver genuinely personalised care while building strong, trusting relationships with families and carers.
The Role
As a
Community Paediatric Nurse , you will:
Deliver specialist paediatric nursing care in the community, including IV therapy, cannulation, and subcutaneous injections
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor ongoing care needs
Manage a focused daily caseload, ensuring continuity, safety, and high clinical standards
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and NHS partners to coordinate care
Support children with complex needs in a safe, familiar home environment
What Were Looking For
Registered Childrens Nurse (RSCN / RCN) with an active NMC PIN
Full UK driving licence
Experience within hospital or community paediatric settings
Confident in cannulation, subcutaneous injections, and clinical assessments
Phlebotomy skills desirable but not essential
