Occupational Requirement: Due to the nature of this role, which includes providing intimate personal care to a female service user in line with individual care plans and safeguarding requirements, this post is restricted to female applicants under Schedule 9, Equality At 2010\n\n\nWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Mental Health Support Worker to provide high-quality assistance.\n\nYour role will be working with a female service user with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD), mental health and anxiety needs.\n\nThis position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to this client's life through personalised care and support.\n\nSkills\n\nExcellent communication skills to effectively engage with service users, colleagues, and external professionals.\nBasic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and completing documentation efficiently.\nLeadership qualities to motivate and encourage service users towards achieving their personal goals.\nAbility to interpret and implement care plans accurately, ensuring personalised support is delivered consistently.\nEmpathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.\nOrganisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities whilst maintaining attention to detail.\nThis role is ideal for individuals committed to making a positive impact through compassionate support work while developing their skills within a supportive team environment.\nExperience/ Requirements\n\nMinimum 25 years of age due to adapted vehicle insurance requirement\n\nPrevious mental healthcare experience; 1 year minimum (required)\n\nClean UK Driving Licence (required)\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompany events\nCompany pension\nExperience: Mental Healthcare: 1 year (required)\nMain duties of the job\nResponsibilities\n\nDeliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring the dignity and respect of all service users.\nAssist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, PEG medication, and support to attend appointments.\nFoster a supportive environment by encouraging social interaction and participation in community activities.\nMaintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the health or behaviour of service users.\nCollaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and colleagues to ensure comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs.\nPromote safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.\nSupport individuals in developing skills that enhance their independence and confidence.
