Job Details

• Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum
• Contract: Fixed Term – 2 years
• Hours: Full-time – 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5)
• On Call: None
• Location: Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX

Qualifications Needed

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
• CCT or equivalent
• Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Responsibilities

• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex
• Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
• Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
• Participate in the local Child Protection rota
• Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
• Work alongside 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service
• Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
