Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Support Manager to support the commissioning phase of the Holcim Tilbury Mill build. This is a short-term role requiring a hands‑on professional with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, capable of coordinating activities, resolving issues, producing reports and ensuring smooth commissioning operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support and coordinate commissioning activities across electrical and mechanical systems
Act as a key point of contact between site teams and project stakeholders
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues in real-time
Monitor commissioning progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
Produce clear, accurate reports on progress, issues, and resolutions
Assist in system checks, testing, and validation processes
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
Strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Proven experience supporting commissioning activities on industrial or construction projects
Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think quickly under pressure
Competent in producing detailed and professional reports and documentation
Strong communication and coordination skills
Desirable
Previous experience on heavy industrial, cement, or manufacturing projects
Familiarity with commissioning processes in large‑scale plant builds
Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications

Competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
