Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the industrial water sector. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems across a range of industrial wastewater projects. This includes planning, executing, and documenting commissioning activities to ensure systems meet design and performance specifications, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute commissioning activities for water treatment systems (e.g., filtration, chemical dosing, DAF, MBR, RO etc.)
* Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
* Liaise with design, installation, and project teams to ensure smooth handover from construction to operation
* Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and test reports
* Provide technical support and training to clients and operational teams
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
* Proven experience in commissioning within the water or wastewater industry
* Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and PLCs
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UK
* CSCS or equivalent safety certification
* Full UK driving licence
