Commissioning Engineer - Bespoke Machinery


UK‑based | UK & International Travel | 4‑day working week


Join a specialist engineering team commissioning advanced, bespoke automated machinery at factory and customer sites worldwide. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll bring complex machines to life and play a key role in successful customer handover.

What You’ll Do:

  • Commission and test bespoke machinery on‑site
  • Fault‑find PLCs, HMIs and drive systems
  • Support FAT & SAT activities
  • Act as the technical face of the business on customer sites
  • Produce commissioning reports and as‑built documentation


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience commissioning automated or special‑purpose machinery
  • Strong Siemens controls knowledge
  • Confident working at customer sites
  • Willingness to travel
  • Engineering qualification (apprenticeship / HNC / HND / degree)
