Commissioning Engineer (Siemens TIA Portal) | Outside IR35 | Nottingham / Wigan
I'm recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to support a major automated warehousing project involving conveyors, palletisers and other material handling systems.
The contract will run for 4–6 months, starting on site in Nottingham for 8 weeks, then moving to Wigan.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in Siemens TIA Portal, confident working on both PLCs and HMIs.
Key responsibilities:
* On-site commissioning of conveyor and intralogistics systems
* Modifying and debugging Siemens PLC code (TIA Portal)
* Fault finding, loop checks, and I/O testing
* Supporting integration with warehouse control and SCADA systems
* Working alongside the automation and mechanical installation teams
