Job Role – Commissioning Engineer (Test Systems)
Reporting to the Test Systems Design Manager the Commissioning Engineer lead the commissioning of complex, bespoke Test Equipment that supports the Qualification and Production Acceptance testing of high-performance flight control systems — including linear, servo-controlled, high-pressure hydraulic actuators.
Duties – Commissioning Engineer (Test Systems)
• Lead commissioning activities to deliver Test Equipment on time, on spec, and on budget • Oversee and support mechanical and electrical assembly, interfacing with Design Engineering to resolve build issues • Drive system integration and formal verification testing, ensuring all requirements are met and documented • Coordinate customer validation and correlation testing, including analysis of results • Ensure all documentation — including verification reports and ‘as built’ drawings — is complete and released • Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness (hydraulic/electrical service integration) • Deliver end-user training and author user and maintenance manuals • Promote and uphold Health & Safety standards throughout all...
