Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Surveyor to join a growing Commercial Valuation & Advisory team in Manchester. The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial assets across the North West, delivering valuation advice to lenders, investors, developers and corporate occupiers.

Youll undertake Red Book valuations, provide strategic advisory support, and play an active role in developing client relationships within a collaborative and forward-thinking team environment.

This position suits an MRICS-qualified valuer looking to take the next step in their career, with scope for progression to Associate level.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Red Book valuations across retail, office, industrial and mixed-use property
• Prepare clear, high-quality valuation reports for a range of client types
• Carry out property inspections and market research to support valuation assumptions
• Monitor local market trends and regulatory changes
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support business development and contribute to team growth
• Assist with development appraisals and investment valuations where required
• Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal quality procedures

Candidate Profile

Essential

• MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in commercial valuation
• Proven delivery of Red Book valuations
• Strong analytical capability and report-writing skills
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience with development appraisals and fund valuations
• Familiarity with Argus Enterprise or similar valuation software
• Good knowledge of the Manchester and wider North West markets
