The Role
As a Commercial Solar Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building long‑term relationships with commercial clients.
You will work with business owners, property developers, and commercial decision‑makers to deliver tailored solar energy solutions that create real financial and environmental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new commercial solar opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing
Build relationships with commercial clients, developers and property owners
Conduct client consultations and assess project viability
Prepare and present solar proposals and financial ROI models
Maintain and manage a strong pipeline using CRM systems
Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within solar, renewables, or energy
Strong track record of closing high‑value commercial deals
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline
Commercially minded with strong problem‑solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
Experience selling commercial solar PV systems
Knowledge of energy markets or renewable technologies
Background in construction, property or energy solutions sales
