Location: Kent (office-based with site visits)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Solar PV Design Engineer to join an established client of ours within the Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy sector.

The role is an office based position therefore you'll need to live commutable to the Kent area.

Joining as a Solar PV Design Engineer/Technical Manager, your role will be to lead the technical design and delivery of commercial flat roof Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of commercial solar pv and battery storage systems
Developing detailed system designs using industry standard tools including AutoCAD, PV SOL, and OpenSolar
Attend site visits, surveys, and technical meetings as required
Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations

Skills Required

Proven experience designing commercial solar PV and battery storage systems
Strong proficiency in: AutoCAD, PV*SOL, OpenSolar
Knowledge of DNO applications and G99 processes
UK Driving Licence

What's on offer

Salary £40k-£50k subject to experience
Full time position - Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm
